Daniel Barenboim is one of the most important artists and humanists of our time, whose commitment and contribution to music, education, politics and main concerns of our society continues to enrich and inspire us all. Having forged a close association with Deutsche Grammophon in 1972, his vast discography features the multi-faceted artist as conductor of orchestral repertoire and opera as well as pianist in concertos, chamber music, song recitals and solo repertoire. In celebration of his 75th birthday, we highlight his remarkable artistry as a pianist with a 39-CD Anniversary Edition of his solo recordings, documenting a career spanning over 60 years.

Great success for UNIVERSAL MUSIC artists with ECHO Klassik The Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg hosted the 24th award ceremony for the Echo Klassik Awards.
