Brian und Roger Eno haben viele Konzepte der Musikproduktion und -performance revolutioniert, von der bahnbrechenden Behandlung der Popmusik durch Brian Eno bis hin zu den an Erik Satie erinnernden Ambient-Synth-/Klavieraufnahmen des j&uuml;ngeren Bruders Roger Eno.
Diese Qualit&auml;ten schwingen auf dieser neuen Ver&ouml;ffentlichung mit. Jeder bringt sein untr&uuml;gliches Gesp&uuml;r f&uuml;r den Ort und die Stimmung auf dem Album ein. Das Timbre in jedem Titel vertieft und &ouml;ffnet sich mit jedem H&ouml;ren. Konkrete und doch abstrakte Titel f&uuml;hren den H&ouml;rer durch die Sammlung, die &uuml;ber mehrere Jahre in einer einzigartigen Zusammenarbeit beider K&uuml;nstler entstanden ist.

Following the release of &ldquo;LUMINAL&rdquo; and &ldquo;LATERAL&rdquo; in June, artist-activists Brian Eno and Beatie Wolfe share their third collaborative record, &ldquo;LIMINAL&rdquo;.
&ldquo;LIMINAL&rdquo; stands at the point of convergence between Lateral and Luminal. If the ambient-inspired &ldquo;LATERAL&rdquo; is a kind of landscape painting, a sonic place, the alternative/vocal album &ldquo;LUMINAL&rdquo; is a dream-like awakening, a feeling space. &ldquo;LIMINAL&rdquo;, the newest addition, is a hybrid of the two, a strange new land with a human living and feeling its way through its mysterious spaces.
The artists are members of EarthPercent, a non-profit organization that advocates for and supports climate protection within the music industry. The project's black and limited-edition colored LPs are therefore pressed in BioVinyl (bio-based PVC).
