The project stands as a powerful cultural statement, blending Western orchestral tradition with the expressive depth of Chinese musical heritage. 

Known to a wide international audience for his globally successful game soundtrack Genshin Impact, Chen has reached listeners around the world, with his works accumulating more than two billion streams. With The Poem of Life, the composer turns to a deeply personal project: a symphonic suite for piano and orchestra in twelve movements that explores the different stages of life through reflection, expression, and storytelling. Marking a new direction in his artistic output, the album brings together his experience as a game composer with a more intimate, concert-focused musical language.
