The performance captures the orchestra&rsquo;s luminous sound and Nelsons&rsquo; deeply human approach to Mahler&rsquo;s music &ndash; by turns intimate, ecstatic, and transcendent.&nbsp;&nbsp;

This stand-alone release launches the long-awaited complete full Mahler symphonic cycle, which comes out on 23 October and promises to be one of the most significant Mahler projects of our time.&nbsp;
