"Irish Roots" embodies Hope's deep connection to Ireland and its culture, which he inherited from his paternal great-grandfather who left Waterford for South Africa in the 1890s. It explores the intersection of folk and classical music with the support of guest artists, including&nbsp;L&uacute;nasa, harpist Siobh&aacute;n Armstrong, flautists Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway, singer Rea Garvey, multi-instrumentalist and folk musician Ross Daly, fellow violinist Simos Papanas, and the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Daniel Geiss. The album is set for release on 5 July and is now available for physical pre-order.&nbsp;
After announcing his new album &ldquo;Irish Roots&rdquo; last week, violinist Daniel Hope today releases a first pre-release track from the album. The traditional composition Morning Nightcap gives a first impression of the intersection between folk and classical music, that Hope explores on his album.
