From the pioneering voices of Mykola Lysenko, Yakiv Stepovy and Borys Lyatoshynsky to Sergei Bortkiewicz, Mykola Leontovych and Valentin Silvestrov, as well as composers writing today, the album brings together familiar melodies and rarely heard works.
