The German pianist Julius Asal announces his upcoming 2nd album on DG 'The Siena Tapes'. On it he performs pieces by Ravel, a new composition by Christian Badzura as well as three new improvisational pieces called Cascades I-III that were written by Asal himself. All of the works were recorded at American record producer Rick Rubin&rsquo;s Chapel in Siena in September 2024.
Listen to a further pre-release track of Asal&rsquo;s self-composed Cascades I. The full album will be released digitally, on CD as well as vinyl on 29 August. &nbsp;
