On their upcoming EP, cellists Kian Soltani and Pablo Ferr&aacute;ndez come together in a musical dialogue that celebrates the full expressive range of their instrument.&nbsp;
The programme brings together four characterful miniatures that showcase different facets of the cello. From Soltani&rsquo;s own composition, inspired by Paganini&rsquo;s virtuosic 24th Caprice, to the lyrical elegance of Carlo Alfredo Piatti, the emotional intensity of Shostakovich, and the baroque energy of Jean-Baptiste Barri&egrave;re, the project unfolds as a compact yet richly varied musical panorama.&nbsp;
With technical brilliance, tonal refinement, and compelling musical presence, Soltani and Ferr&aacute;ndez demonstrate the extraordinary versatility of their instrument. At the heart of the programme is Soltani&rsquo;s original reimagining of Paganini&rsquo;s famous Caprice, which combines virtuosic tradition with a distinctive personal voice. Having studied together at the Kronberg Academy and spent several years living in Berlin, the two musicians share not only a close personal friendship but also a deep artistic understanding that is immediately apparent in their playing.&nbsp;
Listen to a pre-release track, Soltani&rsquo;s Paganini-inspired arrangement for two cellos. The EP will be released digitally on 10 July.&nbsp;
