“‘White Flowers Take Their Bath’ is about the miracle of life itself and how, with light, life can grow seemingly out of nothing.” – MEREDI
Armenian-German composer, pianist and producer MEREDI releases “White Flowers Take Their Bath” in a new piano version. Already counting 13.6 million streams, the track is built around a single recurring melody, carried through shifting harmonies.
For MEREDI, the image of white flowers bathing in the sun is a metaphor for growth and unfolding. A single melody runs throughout the work, opening through different harmonies like a flower slowly turning towards the light.
In other news, MEREDI has entered into an exclusive publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Classics & Screen GSA. She joins a distinguished roster of composers spanning generations and genres, from Puccini and Poulenc to Julia Wolfe and Kevin Puts, and from Isobel Waller-Bridge and Jerskin Fendrix to Max Richter and Angélica Negrón.
