 Anna Netrebko &uuml;berzeugt in Verdis Oper sowohl stimmlich als auch schauspielerisch auf ganzer Linie als hochdramatische Lady Macbeth. Ihr Spiel im zum Teil herrlich abstrakten B&uuml;hnenbild ist so intensiv, dass es einen sofort packt und auch stimmlich ist sie der herausfordernden Partie mehr als gewachsen.&nbsp;

Getragen wird sie von der &auml;u&szlig;erst sensiblen und differenzierten Begleitung durch Fabio Luisi am Pult des Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, das eindringlich spielt und Verdis Partitur durch flotte Tempi und wunderbar kr&auml;ftige Farben zum Leben erweckt, kann die russische Sopranistin ihre vielf&auml;ltigen gestalterischen Mittel voll aussch&ouml;pfen.
