Variations for the Healing of Arinushka

We are delighted to announce an exclusive collaboration with Latvian pianist Georgijs Osokins, who brings a distinctive approach to both the classical repertoire and the musical heritage of the Baltic region.&nbsp;
Known for his archaeological explorations of lesser-known piano literature and his collaborations with his compatriot and mentor Gidon Kremer, Osokins creates thoughtfully structured programmes that often feature his own transcriptions and arrangements. His performances of everything from Bach to P&auml;rt have earned him critical recognition.
As a first digital single, Osokins releases a recording of Arvo P&auml;rt&rsquo;s Variations for the Healing of Arinushka. A spiritual and deeply moving composition, the work celebrates the spiritual essence of the legendary Estonian composer&rsquo;s unique contribution to the music of our times in the year of his 90th birthday (11 September). Osokins offers a fresh, beautifully soft and meditative interpretation.
