Jan Lisiecki - Beethoven Complete Piano Concertos

Celebrated Canadian Pianist Jan Lisiecki releases his recordings of the complete cycle of Beethoven’s piano concertos as a visual album. The cycle was previously released in September 2019 as part of the launch of Deutsche Grammophon’s celebrations for Beethoven’s 250th anniversary year. Recorded with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Lisiecki himself directed from the piano. “If one thinks of the Beethoven concerti as novels", says Lisiecki, "each offers a deep spiritual journey. Performed together, this definitive anthology gives new light to the power of Beethoven’s genius.” This visual album will be released on January 31 on DVD, Blu-ray and as a visual streaming album.
