Solipsism Redux

To mark the 10th anniversary of his album Solipsism, composer and pianist Joep Beving has re-recorded the timeless and introspective work to create his upcoming album Solipsism Redux. On the new album, Beving features new reduced arrangements of the original pieces, which retain his essentially minimalistic style while adding further layers to the music&rsquo;s contemplative nature.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
&ldquo;Solipsism is the idea that reality only exists in one&rsquo;s mind," says Beving. "I called this album Solipsism because I wanted to prove to myself that the opposite is true &ndash; that we are all deeply connected. ... Solipsism was the start of a 10-year exploration of our relationship to reality and I&rsquo;m grateful for what I&rsquo;ve learned, for the people I&rsquo;ve met, and for the moments of peace this music still brings me.&rdquo;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
