Dedicated to one of the composer&rsquo;s wealthy pupils, Baroness Charlotte de Rothschild, this is one of a set of three waltzes that were published in 1847 and together reveal Chopin at the height of his imaginative powers. Blechacz&rsquo;s expressive, flowing interpretation underlines the poignancy of the writing.
