The Importance of Birds is the new inspiring project from Icelandic composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Snorri Hallgr&iacute;msson. &nbsp;
Hallgr&iacute;msson has written and produced seven original tracks for an EP that is an observation and reflection on the fragility of life and the ever-changing and growing relationships with those closest to us. He creates a soundworld of subtle beauty, consisting of poignant but uplifting solo piano lines. These are at times underpinned by warm, gently shifting string arrangements and/or layers of flowing electronica that bear us ever further along a winding musical path.&nbsp;

The EP will be released digitally on 12 September and on 180g vinyl on 31 October. The LP set also includes a signed art card in vinyl version. Listen to a fourth single Row Softer Home from the upcoming EP. It is released in both the original and an edited version. There is also a visualizer video of this track.
