Composer&nbsp;Sven Helbig releases another pre-release track from his upcoming album Requiem A. Experience opera star Ren&eacute; Pape&rsquo;s poignant interpretation of the aria &ldquo;Meer von Tr&auml;nen&rdquo; (&ldquo;Sea of Tears&rdquo;). In the words of Sven Helbig: "This aria tells of the desperate journey back to life after profound loss. Its words linger on an uncertain threshold &mdash; letting go of what is gone, while yearning for release from the torment of longing. The piece is a fervent testament to the idea that renewal is always within reach &ndash; the sun rises from mist or smoke. Smoke here can represent all forms of loss or conflict.&rdquo; With Requiem A, Helbig has created a moving, timeless Requiem in his reduced, haunting musical language. The full album will be released on May 8, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. It will be available digitally, on CD, and on vinyl.
