The 10th batch of celebrated analogue albums reissued on vinyl with the highest possible audio quality as part of our Original Source Series features four special releases: Claudio Abbado’s album with the London Symphony Orchestra of Stravinsky’s ballet Petrushka, Seiji Ozawa’s album with the Boston Symphony Orchestra of Respighi’s four-movement symphonic poems Fountains Of Rome (1917), Pines Of Rome (1924) and Feste Romane (1929), Carlo Maria Giulini’s album with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra of Beethoven’s legendary ‘Eroica’ symphony, and Herbert von Karajan’s album with Anne-Sophie Mutter and the Berliner Philharmoniker of Mozart’s Violin Concertos Nos. 3 & 5. 

Produced on 180g virgin vinyl by Optimal, these limited and numbered releases will be issued in deluxe gatefold editions featuring the original artwork and liner notes, with additional photos and facsimiles of the recording documentation on the inner sleeve. Furthermore, each release includes a note by Rainer Maillard/EBS detailing the technical background and procedure of the Original Source Series as well as an additional insert with a photo of the original tape box.
