Anne-Sophie Mutter, Yo-Yo Ma & Daniel Barenboim, three of today’s most renowned classical artists and Beethoven interpreters, celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with a recording of the Triple Concerto. The recording was made at a concert in Berlin October 2019 – to mark the West-Eastern Divan’s 20th birthday. In a third anniversary it is 40 years since the appearance of the legendary Triple Concerto recording made by Mutter and Ma under Herbert von Karajan in 1980.
This is a streaming video version of the album. Further audio streaming versions of the album (including a version in Dolby Atmos) are also released today and include a recording of the 7th symphony. Similar CD, LP and Blu-ray Video versions will be available on May 20.
