To mark his final season as Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the orchestra present their two-part release featuring works by Prokofiev.
On the first album, the orchestra and Dudamel deliver a breathtaking recording of Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, captured at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The album was released digitally on 13 February.
On this second album, they join forces with Hollywood legend Viola Davis for a unique interpretation of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, with Davis providing a compelling narration alongside the music. The album is released digitally and on vinyl.
