This digital EP by Aloys and Alfons Kontarsky brings together two rarely performed works by Maurice Ravel, offering a distinctive perspective on the composer’s sound world.  

Across both works, the Kontarsky brothers illuminate Ravel’s complex musical structures with exceptional clarity. Entre cloches is released digitally for the first time, revealing a finely articulated and clearly profiled interpretation that highlights the work’s delicate interplay of textures and sonorities. In Frontispice, Ravel appears in a more experimental and fragmentary guise, combining concision with an extraordinary refinement of sound. 

The brothers are among the most influential piano duos of the 20th century, celebrated for their precision, clarity, and analytical approach to music-making.
