SIENA TAPES

The German pianist Julius Asal announces his upcoming 2nd album on DG ‘The Siena Tapes’. On it he performs pieces by Ravel, a new composition by Christian Badzura as well as three new improvisational pieces called Cascades I-III that were written by Asal himself. All of the works were recorded at American record producer Rick Rubin’s Chapel in Siena in September 2024.
