Ten years ago, a self-produced album proved life-changing for Dutch composer-pianist Joep Beving. Solipsism turned him into the global phenomenon he is today, an artist who touches millions with his gentle piano stories. Recently, Beving has returned to his roots with Solipsism Redux – a completely reimagined version of his groundbreaking debut, which has since achieved gold status and amassed hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. 

Its eleven timeless, introspective pieces have been carefully re-recorded, offering a deeper, more intimate glimpse into Beving’s minimalist sound world. With slower tempos and subtle nuances, a more contemplative atmosphere unfolds. 

The album has now been re-issued on EcoRecord – a sustainable record made from PET instead of PVC and, thanks to an innovative production process, saves up to 85% energy compared to conventional vinyl production – without compromising on sound and product quality.
