THE AMERICAN PROJECT

On her latest album, Yuja Wang · The American Project, the star pianist performs two works composed especially for her. Alongside the world premiere recording of her friend Teddy Abrams’ virtuosic Piano Concerto, which she premiered in Louisville in January last year, is her interpretation of You Come Here Often? by another close friend, conductor Michael Tilson Thomas. Yuja Wang recorded both works with the Louisville Orchestra, conducted by Abrams, its Music Director.
