World-famous tenor Peter Schreier started his career as a boy alto in the prestigious Dresdner Kreuzchor, where he quickly rose to the position of first also soloist within the choir, making, at the age of 13, his first professional recording with the choir. The new digital album The Young Peter Schreier presents these first recordings featuring Bach, Brahms, Sch&uuml;tz, Mauersberger, Gallus, Hassler, Sweelinck &amp; German folk songs, some of which were specially arranged for him by the chorus master Rudolf Mauersberger
