TRACTUS

Our partner label ECM New Series release their 2023 album Tractus for this first time on vinyl as the composer approaches his 90th birthday later this year. 

Tractus lays its focus on compositions by Arvo Pärt, in which the timbre of choir and string orchestra merge. New versions of his pieces invite the audience to listen attentively, with focused performances by the Tallin Chamber Orchestra and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir under the direction of Tõnu Kaljuste. 

The album is presented in an elegant 2LP vinyl edition that includes all texts and essays in a high-quality printed insert.
