Carlos Kleiber may only have made a few recordings for DG, but they remain jewels in our catalogue to this day. Over the next weeks leading up to the 20th anniversary of his death on July 13, we are releasing his three complete operas (Verdi: “La traviata”, Weber: “Der Freischütz” and Wagner: “Tristan und Isolde”) in Dolby Atmos for the first time. La traviata is released in Atmos today. 

Alongside these digital albums, we will be releasing his complete output for the label in a new 14-disc set (12 CDs plus 2 Blu-ray Audio discs — one in HD Stereo & one in Dolby Atmos) on July 12.
