Released on our joint label Verbier Festival Gold, we announce an upcoming album of Yuri Temirkanov conducting the Verbier Festival Orchestra in works by Tchaikovsky.

A legendary figure at the Verbier Festival since 1994, Yuri Temirkanov was not only one of the most devoted conductors, but also a guiding presence for generations of young musicians. A discreet maestro, he was admired for his uncompromising artistic integrity and his deep understanding of the repertoire. This particularly includes the works of Tchaikovsky, which he conducted with unmatched sensitivity. His performances, shaped by a lifetime dedicated to music, resonated with the brilliance and passion of his Leningrad heritage.
