The Chinese cellist is a virtuoso whose playing combines emotional depth with flawless technique. At the age of ten, Wang was invited to perform for Isaac Stern. This appearance was featured in Stern&rsquo;s acclaimed film From Mao to Mozart and attracted international attention. As a soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, and teacher, Wang became the first Chinese musician to sign an exclusive contract with DG.&nbsp;
In addition to the original album covers, this edition includes a booklet featuring new liner notes by Jessica Duchen, based on an extensive interview with the artist.
