J.S. BACH

Johann Sebastian Bach originally wrote his sonata BWV 537 for organ. In our version, this gently floating, sun-filled piece has been transcribed for oboe and harpsichord, thus giving the great Albrecht Mayer an ample opportunity to showcase the happy, light-hearted side of his melodic virtuosity. As a first for Musical Moments, we’re presenting a whole three-movement work in three separate tracks.
