CHOPIN Mazurkas / Rafał Blechacz | Deutsche Grammophon

Pianist Rafał Blechacz announces his upcoming album, on which he performs a selection of Chopin’s Mazurkas. 

It is exactly 20 years after winning the prestigious International Chopin Competition in 2005 that he revives these works, which are part of the competition’s key repertoire. His brand-new interpretation of the Mazurkas opp. 6, 17, 24, 41, 50, 56 & 63 is the starting point of an overarching project to record the complete Mazurkas on DG.
