Estonian violinist Hans Christian Aavik and his wife and pianist Karolina Aavik perform the dance-like last movement of George Enescu’s Violin Sonata No. 3 (1926). This is one of the most original 20th-century works in the genre, full of rhythms and melodies inspired by the folk music of the composer’s native Romania.
