We are delighted to start a collaboration with the 16-year-old German pianist and composer Justus Eichhorn. His DG debut album The Source blends exceptional artistry, compelling storytelling and a fresh creative perspective, all deeply rooted in his hometown of Weimar.

At such a young age, Eichhorn is already emerging as one of the most exciting new voices in classical music, captivating audiences both on stage and online with his creativity, virtuosity and distinctive artistic vision. His album brings together works by Bach, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Hindemith and Richard Strauss, while also showcasing his talents as a composer and arranger. Alongside three world premiere recordings of his own works, The Source features his unique arrangement of Vivaldi and imaginative reworkings of studies by Czerny, creating a programme that bridges tradition and innovation.
