David Sanger (1947 – 2010) was a British concert organist, professor and president of the Royal College of Organists. As well as his many teaching roles, the internationally renowned concert organist toured the world extensively as a recitalist. He also composed music for organ, as well as for strings and choirs.  

His new album of organ works by Bach and Franck is released as part of DG’s debut series, which presents first or very early recordings by artists who went on to build considerable careers.
