Roberto Szidon (1941 – 2011) was a Brazilian classical pianist based in Germany who had an international performing and recording career and taught in Hannover and Düsseldorf. His new album featuring Sonatas by Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and Prokofiev is released digitally as part of DG’s debut series, which presents first or very early recordings by artists who went on to build considerable careers.
