Taken from the fourth release batch of the pianist’s discography is this album that brings together recordings of Beethoven’s 5th Piano Concerto (Emperor) and Mozart’s Coronation Concerto, performed during a tour of Japan in February 2014 with the renowned Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Nobu’s legendary technique and depth of expression impressed audiences throughout Japan. The cadenzas in the Mozart concerto were written by the pianist himself.
