Now, three selected albums from this series – originally released on vinyl – are being released digitally for the first time.
Pianist Hans-Christian Wille opens with works by Mussorgsky, Ravel and Ginastera, presenting a varied programme spanning Russian programme music, French musical artistry and modern South American expressiveness. On his violin recording, Dmitry Sitkovetsky combines Bach, Paganini and Prokofiev – and with them, Baroque rigour, virtuoso brilliance and modern intensity. Finally, Göran Söllscher introduces the classical guitar to the Concours series with works by Bach and Fernando Sor.
